Alex and Steffen are a German directing duo specialized in visual effects-intense commercials, which they not only direct but also lead in postproduction as visual effect supervisors. This allows them to ensure that their vision is created exactly, and that the spots can reach the quality they commit to. Combining live action shots with computer generated digital effects is their main focus and has been their passion since their beginnings in film making. Alex & Steffen won the Young director's Award in Cannes in 2005, and were selected for the 'Saatchi&Saatchi New Director's Showcase' the following year. Their career has soared since then, they have directed commercials for a large number of international agencies and clients (Nissan, Snickers, Adidas to mention just a few) and have also won numerous awards for their outstanding 3D work.
